Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration in School Settings

Providing services as a BCBA in school settings often requires close collaboration with a wide range of professionals. Behavior analysts frequently work alongside special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, school administrators, and families. In many cases, coordination may also extend to medical providers such as pediatricians, psychiatrists, or school nurses—particularly when supporting students experiencing severe behavior or complex health needs.

Join Jessica Slaton, PhD, BCBA, Director of Applied Research at Nashoba Learning Group, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time for a 60-minute live session exploring practical strategies for effective multi-disciplinary collaboration in school environments. This presentation will review approaches for sharing data across service providers, supporting students’ access to related services, and navigating professional discussions when providers have differing perspectives.

Through real-world case studies, participants will learn how coordinated collaboration can improve student outcomes and ensure services are delivered ethically and effectively.
