Delivering Quality ABA at Scale

Outcomes of an Integrated Instructional Framework Across a Multi-State ABA Provider

As demand for applied behavior analysis (ABA) services continues to outpace the available workforce, providers face growing pressure to expand access without compromising quality of care. Yet as clinical teams grow and spread across states and service settings, maintaining consistent instructional practices and measurable learner outcomes becomes an increasingly difficult — and rarely examined — challenge.

This whitepaper closes that gap.

In partnership with Behavioral Framework, a multi-state ABA provider, Hi Rasmus analyzed six months of organizational-scale clinical data to compare the Probe-Teach-Probe (PTP) instructional framework — an integrated approach to measurement and teaching operationalized through the Hi Rasmus platform — against standard programming. The result is real-world evidence that a validated instructional methodology can deliver both quality and efficiency at scale.

In this whitepaper, we outline:

  • The Probe-Teach-Probe (PTP) framework and its foundation in cold probe data collection, simultaneous prompting, and fluency-based instruction
  • Six-month outcomes data spanning 1,090 clients and more than 4,000 client-month observations across five states and Washington, D.C.
  • Statistically significant comparisons between PTP and standard programming skill acquisition rates
  • Clinical and organizational implications for scaling quality ABA care under increasing value-based care expectations

By demonstrating that high-quality, evidence-based ABA can be delivered consistently across a large, clinically diverse population, this research offers ABA providers a replicable model for measuring — and improving — outcomes at scale.
