Why I Joined the Platform I Used in the Field
By, Julie Morawski, MA, BCBA, CBSP
Before I ever worked for Hi Rasmus, I worked with Hi Rasmus.
I’ve been a Behavior Technician, a special education teacher, a BCBA, and a Clinical Director. I’ve been the person trying to make systems work for clinicians, families, and organizations, often while juggling too many tabs and not enough time.
Like many people working in ABA, I’ve used a wide range of platforms over the years—and many of them felt more like a chore than a solution. The learning curve alone was often overwhelming for new BCBAs and technicians, making technology one more thing to manage rather than something that truly helped.
I came across Hi Rasmus while researching Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) and was immediately drawn to the fact that Hi Rasmus had already built tools to support clinicians in implementing SBT effectively. That alignment with compassionate, values-based care was a major factor for me. After my first demo, I saw how Hi Rasmus could streamline workflows, reduce friction for teams, and scale across organizations—while clinically supporting thoughtful assessment, data analysis, and decision-making in a way that actually felt usable.
From leadership-level visibility to everyday usability, the platform felt intuitive and supportive, built for clinicians. Adopting the program at my organization was a game-changer.
Then I became a mom to two little ones. Naturally, my whole world shifted.
I started looking for a place that offered flexibility, understanding, and a true people-first culture without sacrificing innovation or impact. I was a huge fan of Hi Rasmus as a user, and I also fell in love with the team and culture I saw as a customer and follower on LinkedIn. What really drew me to Hi Rasmus was the people, the values, and the commitment to improving how care is delivered, tools that feel human. I would refresh the open job postings almost constantly until I finally saw an opportunity.
From the interview process on, I felt supported, valued, and welcomed exactly as I am. Joining Hi Rasmus felt like a natural next step, where I could take everything I learned in the field and use it to support providers from behind the scenes. Helping teams build systems that work for them and their learners.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of a company that listens to clinicians, builds with intention, leads with kindness, and keeps children and families at the center of everything it does.
And if you’re a clinician who’s ever thought, “There has to be a better way,” I promise you:
There is.
And we’re building it.
